
Oxford Dictionary defines success to be the accomplishment of an aim or purpose, however as a people we tend to celebrate other peoples’ success far more than our own successes, we sometimes downplay the success we have accomplished because it is not as visible as our peers.
Have you thought of yourself as successful? I mean in the most realistic way, the fact that you are making your own living is a success, having food to eat every day and having your own means of transport is a success that should be celebrated because as much as that to is just having basic necessities it does not change the fact that someone out there in the world lacks those privileges.
Has it ever occurred to you that you are arguably living one of your dreams, or experiencing the daily challenges of your dream life? consider that not all success smells like roses and expensive perfume, some success is just a pat on the back and you move forward and that kind of success is just as important.
Since opening a Product & Business Video Studio in the Kempton Park area, my responsibilities at the studio have grown into Production Management & Set Directing amongst other responsibilities that I’ve had, and I manage Brands & Artists that are breaking into the International level, solidifying my print in the Beauty, Production & entertainment industry. All of these challenges, I believe are leading me to My Success as a PR Agent and as an Owner of a large PR Agency; Lucrative Communications.
It is essential to be realistic with your goals and dreams to attain success and evolve; unrealistic goals and objectives can make you unhappy and realistically speaking, what kind of dreams make you unhappy? tucky ones…eeww.
Take it from me, celebrate each of your successes, whether big or small as that allows you to be aware of your progress and not dwell on unnecessary pressure.
We live in a world filled with unnecessary success standards, which is one of the reasons many are unhappy with their own living conditions as successful as they are. Influencers embody luxury and success so beautifully that it questions your own success however you need to always remember that ‘people only show you what they want you to see, ultimately to create a perception in your mind of what their life is like.’
To me Success is living a fulfilled and happy life, being in a position to do just about anything I want to do, for instance, flying to another country to start a new business. That sounds like ultimate happiness to my ears. Knowing this allows me to recognize what is meant for me and what isn’t, so define your success in order to tailor your life to become what you know you deserve.
